ATURA architecture is a full-service architecture firm based out of Clear Lake, Iowa, with a secondary office in Ankeny Iowa & Omaha Nebraska.
This year we celebrate our 100th year in North Iowa that originated in 1923 with Hanson & Waggoner.
In 2012, ATURA (WWA Architects at the time) became a subsidiary of Dean Snyder Construction to better service design build projects.
While continuing to serve the same markets, our ability to leverage contractor resources is truly a benefit to our clients through providing the most up to date cost estimating capabilities, scheduling, and value engineering from the early onset of the project.

Atura Architecture is looking for an Architect to join our team.
This position is responsible for designing and or facilitating the execution of new building designs, the execution of building expansions or renovations according to the client's needs, desires, and financial resources.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Creates project designs and plans for all phases of projects and coordinates building design consultants while monitoring drawings Estimates scope of work and oversees less experienced project managers.
Develops solutions and creates project designs and plans Initiates and creates project designs and plans of all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings Serves as primary liaison contact with clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget and with maximum client satisfaction Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; budget and schedule; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects Provides oversight and monitoring of work of less experienced project managers May act in a team leader capacity in the absence of the manager Coordinates all project efforts to ensure effective execution, prepares strategic plans, and serves as primary client liaison Other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Extremely proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and consultation skills Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references such as drawings or modelsEducation and
Experience:
Five or more years of experience, licensed architect Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited programPhysical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times Occasional construction site visits may occurAs a team member, you'll be eligible for our competitive benefits the following month after hire date, which includes:
