We are actively seeking a Master Production Planner to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!The Master Production Planner utilizes production planning tools to ensure an uninterrupted flow of product is available to meet Customer demand/forecast as defined by the Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SIOP) process.
The successful Master Production Planner will have a solid understanding of best practices in scheduling, MRP systems and data/metrics analysis.
As our Master Production Planner, you'll make an impact by:
Creating and analyzing monthly capacity plan showing planned production, projected inventories, and capacity utilization.
Developing scenarios for medium/long term horizon to support business SIOP decision process as necessary.
Recommending changes to target inventories, turns and safety stocks when necessary to deliver required customer service levels within policies and guidelines.
Tracking all master planning metrics and reports appropriately.
Leading root cause analysis for key metrics.
Preparing master production schedule for assigned materials and converting planned orders to manufacturing process orders in SAP.
Conducting cross-functional meetings with operations to review master production plan to gain alignment and address issues with adherence.
What you need to succeed:
BS degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Science or Engineering, or related field.
4-6 years' experience in supply chain or operations Knowledge/Experience of master scheduling, forecasting, product distribution, inventory control, and manufacturing processes strongly preferred.
SAP experience (or another tier 1 ERP) preferred.
