Manager, Claims Quality Control and Training Coordinator

4 Full-time 7 hours ago Full Job Description As a Manager of Claims Quality Control and Training Coordinator, you will manage and produce excellent results within the department by creating and administering trainings related to claims training programs for new hires and continuing education for staff in the Claims Administration Department (CAD).
What you will do in this role:
Coordination and management of the Claims Quality Program including resource creation and maintenance.
Work closely with Claims Leadership and representatives of other departments to resolve problems, establish new procedures, and implement improvements.
Plans, leads and executes activities necessary for Claims Administration Department (CAD) to achieve effective controls over claim payments and claim denials.
Prepares and delivers detailed reports to management around evaluation of claim files processed by Examiners including their decision-making skills, adherence to regulatory issues, and internal claim processing protocols.
Conducts periodic reviews required for internal audit.
Supports efforts of Legal Coordinator for Market Conduct examinations.

Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience administering training to help develop staff in an adult learning experience and work-related techniques is required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) is required.
Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of project management techniques and requirements.
Strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively identify training needs, staffing trends, and budget impacts in order to initiate changes as required.
