Salary Range:
Grade I $7.25-$8.25/hour (Entry Level)
Grade II $7.47-$$8.47/hour (1-2 years experience)
Grade III $8.15-$9.15/hour (3 or more years experience)
-Executes/implements all activities for enrolled children.
-Monitors the classroom area at all times to ensure the safety of all participants, making immediate changes to ensure an accident free environment exist.
-Provides a positive environment for all participants, and actively encourages participation to ensure growth and development.
-Exemplifies appropriate behavior and is a role model for participants; actively listens to all children and shows patience, understanding, and respect for others.
-Instructs participants on the rules of the center and ensures adherence; disciplines children only when appropriate and within the established guidelines of the YMCA and parent.
-Ensures the childcare facility remains neat, clean, orderly, and free of all safety impediments.
-Develops and fosters interpersonal relationships between participants, parents and staff members, to create an
environment of cooperation, friendliness, and helpfulness toward others.
-All other duties as assigned and applicable in making for a successful environment.
-High School Diploma or GED required; Some college highly desirable
-Must be at least age 19.
-Must be available May 20th-August 16th.
-Previous childcare experience highly desirable. Must possess high level of maturity.
- Current CPR, First Aid required
-On-Site attendance is required of this position

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
