## Position Summary
Employment at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is provided under a program of financial assistance to students and will not be covered for unemployment benefits per Nebraska Revised Statute 48-604 (6)(j).
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:

The Service Learning Academy is seeking dynamic students who love UNO and love sharing their enthusiasm for UNO! The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working with diverse audiences, and be an adept communicator. Duties include supporting service learning projects via office or administrative tasks such as copying, making phone calls, or creating documents. Candidates will also serve as tour guides for our many project-related visitors. Some metro-area travel is involved, therefore reliable transportation is a must.
Schedule: 10-15 hours a week. Monday - Friday. Hours can be flexible around student's schedule.

Qualifications:
Strong communication and computer skills, willing to work independently or as a team, punctual and reliable, able to follow through on instructions without direct supervision.

Ability to work at a desk and at a computer for periods of time as well some standing and lifting up to 30lbs.
