Required Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelors degree or significant job experience equivalent.
Emphasis on law or paralegal, accounting and financing preferred.
Significant and proficient personal computer experience including Word and Lotus Notes. Some knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint helpful.
3-5 years business/legal experience preferred.
Logic, mathematic and English skills.

Self-motivated and self-directed., TBD, JOB PURPOSE: AIC Public Finance underwrites over 200 municipal bond deals annually. The purpose of the position is to assist the investment bankers in the successful operation of a public finance office in Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska.
Essential Functions: Coordinate new issue municipal bond closing and settlement process, including:
Communicate with Trade Desk when BPA has been signed and report to DTC that bond sale has been completed.
Report all required information to MSRB, KISS, State Auditor, etc.
Provide Bond Counsel with numbers and details needed to complete closing documents
Work with Bond Counsel to ensure registration and documentation is accurate and in place in a timely manner for closing.
Ensure all closing documents have been executed by the Issuer
Work with Issuers to confirm settlement instructions are accurate to wire bond proceeds appropriately
Work with Bond Counsel to settle bonds with NFS and ensure proceeds have been received by Issuer
Provide Final Official Statement and numbers to Issuer
Confirm Issuer receipt of deal transcripts from Bond all information, records, and documents related to issuance into a bond file for retention in accordance with Regulations and AIC Policies and administrative support and assistance, including telephones, copying and computer/word processing, maintain filing system for correspondence, proceedings, official statements, etc., and maintain verbal and personal rapport with clients, administrative staff. Assist bankers with retail sales forms and accounting records.Manage the Banker's Travel & Expense reports and AIC expenses related to the operation of our Public Finance team, including the phone systems, materials, and supplies, DTC, MSRB, CUSIP, and other charges related to bond issues and ongoing miscellaneous expenses. Work with AIC accounting on expenses for donations, convention, and conference participation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
