Come join the Yahoo Search Account Management team, where you will influence the overall health and growth of Yahoo's premium Search advertisers in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
About the Role
Yahoo is looking for highly motivated Account Managers to manage, retain, grow and satisfy Yahoo's most valuable customer business relationships. Search Account Managers are responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with Yahoo's Mid-Market tier of search advertisers, comprised of medium and large sizes businesses and agencies. The position involves up-selling existing advertisers, cross-selling new products and providing daily support to achieve team revenue goals.
Responsibilities
Manage a book of business consisting of up to 200
direct clients
Knowledge and understanding of all internal systems to respond to general and specialized client requests, including billing inquiries, click activity inquiries, bidding requests, relevancy issues, etc.
Develop a deep understanding and ability to analyze client ROI/CPA goals and data, media, buying cycles, website architecture, product/service update schedules, marketing philosophy, target demographics, etc.
Understand how Yahoo Search products will assist advertisers in reaching their marketing goals
Analyze data and insights to aggressively drive revenue for the entire book
Proactively optimize marketing campaigns by analyzing performance data and making strategic recommending adjustments to improve campaign performance
Partner with internal teams to implement creative and budget-related optimizations
Minimum Qualifications
BS, BA or equivalent
2-3 years or more of digital marketing/media experience, preferably as an Account Manager in search marketing
A strong background developing client relations ships via phone and in person
Ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve customer issues effectively
Outstanding computer skills, including advanced knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), and CRM systems
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Stellar verbal and written communication skills
