## Position Summary

Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Peer advisors will act as ambassadors for the Academic & Career Development Center (ACDC). As part of your responsibilities, you will: assist with planning and staffing of ACDC events; meet with students to conduct walk-in resume reviews and scheduled mock interviews; promote ACDC via social media and MavSync; create mentoring relationships with students; collaborate with staff to co-facilitate College & Career Success course; assist with walk-in academic advising questions; and provide insight on ACDC programming. Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities. 1) Completed at least two (2) semesters at UNO; 2) 3.0 GPA or higher; 3) evidence of campus involvement; 4) available to work at least 8-10 hours a week; 5) attend scheduled staff meetings (twice a month); and 6) complete training in August prior to start of the academic year. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
