Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:

The UNO Study Abroad Office relies on Peer Advisors for various support tasks key to day to day function of the office, in addition to longer term projects. The Study Abroad Peer Advisor acts as a first point of contact for students interested in studying abroad. Peer Advisors will discuss and research program options, application requirements and procedures with interested students. Peer Advisors are also involved in the promotion of study abroad on-campus through study abroad events and classroom presentations. Administrative support is provided to the Study Abroad Advisor as needed. Additional duties as assigned. Variable schedule.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities. -Knowledge of study abroad programs -A willingness to assist students -Not adverse to public speaking in front of groups. -Prior study abroad is required.
