Serve as legal counsel to internal clients (including IT and Supply Departments) in the areas of general commercial and transactional law, focusing on the areas of information technology and procurement of equipment and materials. Attorney will counsel clients on strategic decisions to optimize company's information technology and railroad assets for operations and financial results, and provide advice and assistance with respect to commercial contracts involving the sale, licensing or other disposition of intellectual property and the lease, acquisition, sale or other disposition of materials and equipment necessary for railroad operations. Additionally, experience with commercial contracts under the company, quality control processes, and commercial dispute resolutions is desirable, along with familiarity with real estate transactions.
