Our client, a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, is seeking a LEAN Manufacturing Engineer with a background in agricultural equipment for their facility in Omaha, NE.
The Opportunity
The Manufacturing Engineer willbe responsible for LEAN implementation projects, cost justifications and leading production system initiatives.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Analyze, plan and justify future assembly operations
Train and lead teams to implement Lean manufacturing principles / strategies
Report production system results and coordinate activities between departments
Develop BOM in support of manufacturing and logistic requirements
Create and update routings with standard operating times and material assignments
SAP Process development and ISO Implementation
Develop and implement assembly fixtures and lifting devices
Create Layouts utilizing AutoCAD based off BOMs
Plan, organize and implement logistical processes
Interface with world wide groups to plan manufacturing strategies
Support external vendor logistical processes
Implement and management containerization with external vendors
Requirements
BS in Engineering discipline (agriculture, mechanical or industrial)
10 plus years heavy manufacturing experience
Agricultural or Farm equipment vendor experience
Strong Project Management skills
SAP, AutoCAD and LEAN Manufacturing
